Josiah Harrison is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Chesterfield, VA who attends Trinity Episcopal. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout frame, Fast-twitch, posted a 6.53 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, attacks the ball well and shows both quickness and agility to actions, fields the ball out front, sound footwork with bounce to actions, long arm action through the back, big arm strength with whip at release, showed accuracy to the intended target. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance in the box with a high hand set and lower back elbow at the plate; utilizes a short leg lift trigger moving into contact. Projects well physically, stays short to the ball and longer through the zone with path, line drive approach at the plate and shows some present bat speed; turned on a ball in live action showing strength for a long home run to left-center field, shows comfort working to pull side. Good student.
