Jack Mackinnon is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Sarasota, FL who attends Cardinal Mooney HS. Recorded a 6.90 second 60-yard dash time. Tall frame with a lean build and lots of room to project. Primary outfielder who fields out in front and has a long arm stroke through the back. Open stride and has deliberate actions. Waits on the ball and had throws recorded up to 85 mph into the infield. Secondary left-handed pitcher with some moving parts. Short stride with a high three-quarters arm slot. Methodical delivery and mixed in a softer curveball and a firmer changeup with slight fading action. Left-handed hitter with a slightly open stance, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Shorter to the ball with lift at the point of contact. Swings hard and will get downhill at times. Strength to the middle of the field. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
