Caden Norman is a 2020 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-5 190 lb. frame from Bulverde, TX who attends Smithson Valley. Extra large frame with long limbs. Present strength throughout build. Ran a 7.95 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary first baseman. Fields out in front with present clean glove actions. Quick footwork around the bases and into turns. Can release from multiple slots while staying accurate to the bag. Slight carry on throws topping out at 80 MPH. Righthanded hitter with an even stance and short leg lift trigger for timing. Stays on the backside through swing with rotational mechanics. Looks to create lift off the barrel utilizing strength well at the point of contact. Can impact the baseball with loud jump when squaring contact. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a short side step delivery into a leg lift to the belt. Lands in line down the mound. Fluid actions in the back with a long arm circle and into a three-quarter slot. Mostly straight with the fastball with occasional plane topping out at 83 MPH. More present feel for a curveball with sweeping actions, as well as a slider with straight lateral movement.
