Drew Lafferty is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from South Park, PA who attends South Park. Uber-athletic, large, physical build with plenty of strength present throughout his frame. Primary right-handed pitcher, dynamic arm working with a repeatable, simple operation that exerts minimal effort. Above-the-belt leg lift, engaging his strong lower half to drive down the mound, remaining online to the plate. Clean, whippy arm action from a 3/4 slot. Low-90s fastball, grabbing several 93s during his two innings of work. Plus-command, moving his heater around the zone as he generated whiffs. Strong feel for plus secondary offerings. Tight slider with late bite that displayed horizontal and vertical tilt. Change-up displayed hard fading action, that dove at the feet of right-handed hitters. Right-handed hitter, sets up with a slightly open stance, crouched at the knees. Lofted stroke with easy power to the gaps with lightning quick hands. On time with a leg-lift-trigger, tapping into his lower half to produce tons bat speed. Produced loud contact throughout his round of BP. High-level talent on the mound that has signed to Kentucky.
