Austin Marshall is a 2021 2B/SS with a 5-0 100 lb. frame from Allen, TX who attends Lovejoy HS. Younger look and frame with plenty of time to add strength to the frame as he develops toward physical maturity. Primary second baseman with deliberate actions at the position. Developing arm strength at the position with the ability to work well to both sides. Solid feel for fielding with clean glove actions. Righthanded hitter with an even, balanced stance. High hand set with a high back elbow. Slightly open start from the batting stance. Toe tap trigger into his stride and separation. Compact swing path with a level swing plane. Up the middle approach and will continue to add strength as he develops physically. Good student.
