Ryan Marquez is a 2022 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Carrollton, TX who attends Hebron. Posted a 7.01 in the 60 yard dash. Primary RHP, he topped velocity at 87 and utilized a slider/curveball mix very well. He is a solid athletic build with quality quick movement and present arm strength. The delivery is clean and 3/4 arm slot has a quick arm path, curveball has solid depth and bite with a slider showing sharp horizontal and plenty of potential to be advanced. Uptempo pace with feel to repeat and create a rhythm as he worked quickly through his outing. Left-handed hitter, there is a lot of strength engaged when he connects. Even base and high back elbow set launches well with a grooved swing that has a lot of carry off a clean barrel. Good student. Named to 2021 South Prospect Top Prospects List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
