Ryan Schlotzhauer is a 2020 LHP/OF with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Missouri City, TX who attends Ridge Point HS. Tall and slender build with lots of room to fill out and get stronger. Smooth delivery with good hip turn, long and loose arm action coming to a high 3/4's arm slot, good pace to his delivery. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with some arm side running life. Threw both a change up and curveball, curveball had some 1/7 depth to it, change up had occasional fading action. Poised on the mound and goes after hitters with an idea how to mix speeds and pitch to spots. 6.98 runner, showed good athleticism in the outfield. Good chance to keep getting better as he physically matures. Named to the 2018 National Underclass South Showcase Top Prospect List.
