Payton Plym is a 2021 RHP/IF, OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Seatonville, IL who attends Hall. Right-handed pitcher with a medium frame and present strength in the lower half. Shows some athleticism throughout the delivery, starting from the windup with a small side step to a leg lift that reaches just above the belt. Repeats the entire operation well and finishes with a long take back and present arm speed from an over the top slot. Locates the fastball well to both sides of the plate at 80-83 miles per hour, showcasing good feel to spin a curveball with sweeping shape and some bite through the zone in the low-70s. Also flashes a mid-70s change-up with fading action, mixing speeds well and locating all three pitches for strikes. Good student.
