Jake Giovannone is a 2024 C/OF with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Staten Island, NY who attends Monsignor Farrell. Compact athletic build with good present strength in his lower half. 5.14 runner in the forty. Primary catcher on defense, is very quick and efficient coming out of his crouch, very compact exchange and release, gains ground well into his throws, repeats his actions well, makes very accurate throws, next level actions on defense. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a toe tap trigger, has a well timed and short line drive swing, handles the barrel well and creates consistent line drive contact, hits to all fields. Good student. Named to the Northeast Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
