Aidan Smith is a 2023 OF/MIF with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Lucas, TX who attends Lovejoy. Large frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.48 seconds. Hits from balanced stance with high back elbow in set, above-average bat speed with good strength to hands, has power and projects for more, length to entry path at times, developing barrel accuracy skills, legitimate power upside long term. Worked out in the outfield, fields off to side and works through the ball well, lengthy arm stroke with some whip to it, clocked up to 94 mph on throws, arm speed/body allow for arm strength projection, legitimate athleticism/power ceiling here. Very good student, committed to Mississippi State.
