Carlos Celta is a 2023 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Lake Nona. Large, physical frame with well-proportioned strength throughout. Recorded a 7.78 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary first baseman with fluid, athletic actions throughout the fielding process. Showed agile footwork around the bag, a clean funnel out in-front and quickness to his turns. Produced online, accurate throws up to 80 mpg across the diamond during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a simple, repeatable operation with good lower half movements down the slope and good direction. Generates exceptional hip, shoulder separation and displayed plenty of present arm speed. Fastball worked in the upper-70s for the majority of his outing and ticked up into the low-80s at times. Topped out at 82 mph from a three-quarters arm slot in this look. Proficient strike thrower with late life to his fastball and the ability to command both sides of the plate. Snapped off a few hellacious sliders for both strikes and swings-and-misses, while showing the ability to manipulate speed and shape to it. Right-handed hitter that hits from a upright, open base with a high hand set, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Simple, repeatable stroke with some looseness to his hands, plenty of present bat speed and strength throughout. Displayed feel for the barrel with the ability to adjust and impacted the baseball with authority from gap-to-gap. Showcased legitimate power potential with sound barrel accuracy. Fundamentally sound defensive skill set with some two-way abilities, profiles to have an impact at the plate. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
