Diego Martinez is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Klein Cain. Medium frame with athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.83 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with toe tap trigger, full shift in lower half with some glide onto front side, linear swing plane, middle field approach. Worked out in the outfield, balanced and athletic through movements, fields cleanly and works through, clocked up to 89 mph on throws, quick arm. Also pitched, clean arm to 3/4 slot, fastball worked 82-84 mph with plane, 11/5 curveball with spin and depth, also flashed solid changeup, attacked the zone and was dominant. Excellent student.
