Eli McElwaney is a 2023 3B/RHP with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Buford, GA who attends Buford. Large frame with broad shoulders and strength to the build. Ran a 7.41 second 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, worked out in the infield with still developing athleticism in the lower half, profiles long term as a corner-infielder based on lateral actions, sure handed with a longer windup into throws, shows some arm strength with throws clocked up to 82 mph across. Righthanded hitter, starts with a small leg lift trigger, stays short to and through the zone, gets looseness to hands at times and finishes high through contact, drifts some onto the front side but shows carry off the barrel when squared on time.
