Jax Bishop is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Rome, GA who attends Calhoun HS. Athletic frame with a medium build and room to fill out. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Athletic mover with a deliberate tempo. Side step moving in with a leg lift past the belt. Gathers on the backside well with good direction toward the plate. Compact arm action and shows both a slider and a curveball. Slider has more bite and horizontal action while the curveball shows 12/6 shape. Adept at manipulating and landing breakers for strikes while the slider is used for whiffs. Showed a couple of changeups to left-handed hitters as well. Great student. Verbal commitment to Tennessee.
