Jamieson "Macky" Rowland is a 2022 1B/RHP with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Eastman, GA who attends Trinity Christian. Large frame with a filled out build showing a sturdy lower half. Ran a 7.62 second sixty yard dash. Primary First Baseman, sitting back on the baseball as he makes sure to keep the play in front of him. Gathers with confidence and worked quickly into transfers. Feel for the glove showing as he scooped it up during drills. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch. Higher leg lift as he drives down the mound while falling off to the first base side. Over the top slot as he goes right after hitters. Sinks the fastball as he was up to 80 mph. Also mixed in a breaking ball in the low-70's. Right-Handed Hitter, starting balanced with a good bit of pre-pitch movements. Hands sink into a bigger leg lift as he strides out. Quick hands as he fires the bat head through the zone. Looks to lift and drive it deep to the middle of the park. Proved to have some power when he timed it up properly. Great Student.
