Christian Olazabal is a 2021 RHP/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Coral Gables HS. Medium athletic build with some present strength. High energy delivery with effort at release, high 3/4's arm slot creates some plane to the plate, has arm speed, direction and arm slot still not consistent. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, does a good job of throwing strikes with it despite all the delivery variables, mostly straight. Sweeping curveball has some spin and depth, tends to slow his arm on it. Should continue to improve as he learns his delivery and gets stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall open stance with a big leg raise load, has good hand quickness and creates some bat speed, good swing path with some pull side lift, lets the barrel fly and attacks the ball. 7.69 runner, third base tools on defense. Good student.
