Steele Marshall is a 2024 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Defuniak Springs, FL who attends Walton Senior. Larger, physically strong frame with strength present in the upper half. Ran a 7.83 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, straddles the rubber, side step with high hands dropping to the waist with a belt high leg lift, gets gradual coil into hip at top of the belt high lift, lands closed on foot strike. Touched 82-mph with the four seam and mixed in a mid 60's curveball with slurvy shape, has an idea on the bump that projects some. Secondary first baseman, deliberate actions here with two hand funnel out front, longer arm action on throws, accurate across the diamond, footwork was solid on the turn with fundamental actions here at the spot. Right-handed hitter, balanced with a slightly open front side, hands by chest, knee lift trigger stride with separation to the slot, good swing path that is direct to the baseball with strength through the zone, has some power projection given the frame. Strong kid with good fundamental base at every spot he touches. Good student.
