Nate Swarts is a 2019 IF/RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Farmington, NM who attends Piedra Vista HS. Very athletic build, has some present strength and room for plenty more. Right handed hitter, straight stance, pretty still hand start, line drive swing plane with some lift and extension out front, has good bat speed, pull to mid field approach with gap power. 7.06 runner, third base profile but moves well for his size, fields the ball cleanly out front, high arm slot with some carry on his throws. Also pitched, works from the stretch with a directional drifting delivery, high 3/4's arm slot, arm works well. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, mostly straight with occasional late wiggle at the plate. Still developing feel for his secondary stuff but has the arm strength to develop into a two-way threat. Good student.
