Brevin Smith is a 2023 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Palm Bay, FL who attends Melbourne. Smaller, lean build with some present strength. Ran a 7.47 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop that moves well laterally, quality glove placement out front, shows more agility in the field than his 60 would suggest, solid average arm, throws off the backside well. Hits from a wider and slightly open base, hovers some, tight turn, shows a flat/line drive bat path with some quick hands that produce hard liners up the middle and to the pull side. 2 baseballs squared up in game. High 3/4 arm slot on the mound, showed 3 pitches including a fastball up to 82, a curve with 11-5 shape and depth, and a straight change-up. Had an efficient outing on the mound. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
