Jackson Roper is a 2025 SS/2B/OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Orange Park, FL who attends A3 Academy. Medium athletic build with some present strength. 6.91 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has outstanding actions through the ball, changes his arm slot well and plays on the move, light on his feet, big arm strength when he gets set and on top of the ball, all the tools and actions to be a standout defender. Worked out in the outfield as well and showed the same type of athletic actions and aggressiveness along with a cannon of an arm. Going to be a high level defender no matter where he plays. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with good balance and direction into his swing, fires his hips well, creates bat speed and gets jump off the barrel, pull to mid field contact. Good student, verbal commitment to Florida.
