Colin Kirk is a 2020 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-8 125 lb. frame from Alamogordo, NM who attends Alamogordo HS. Young, athletic frame with slender present build and lots of projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.39 seconds. Sets up to hit from open stance with good balance, takes inside-out hand path to the ball with solid bat speed. Line drive swing plane, showed ability to get to all fields with some jump off the bat, will grow into additional power. Worked out in the outfield, good footwork to and through the ball with good balance, has athletic looseness through actions, fields cleanly and shows very projectable arm speed, topping at 70 MPH on throws. Pitched as well, full over head windup with loose arm to three quarters slot, worked 64-68 MPH with fastball with some sinking action. Showed curveball with 1/7 shape and good depth. Very good student.
