Jaelen Williams is a 2020 1B/OF with a 6-2 220 lb. frame from Fontana, CA who attends St. John Bosco HS. Extra strong athletic build, especially in the lower half. Right handed hitter, has good rhythm in his hitting approach, hits from a wide base with a bent knee stance, has quick hands and a short swing path for his size, very simple swing mechanics, has looseness to his swing, big power when he squares the ball up, can really drive the ball with his strength with minimal effort. 7.30 runner, has good mobility at first base, tends to field the ball deep to his body. Two-sport athlete who has the potential to blossom as a baseball player with additional repetitions. Good student.
