Will McCausland is a 2022 RHP/MIF with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Harleysville, PA who attends Souderton Area. Medium frame with slender build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.78 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with high hands and back elbow, sinks into hips well through swing, gets barrel moving uphill, wants to drive the ball into the air, showed good contact skill, will have good power as he matures. Worked out in the infield, longer strides to and around the ball, fields out front, has projectable athleticism, arm strength up to 72 mph. Primary righthanded pitcher, plunges through back to initiate arm stroke, gets up to three quarters slot with tighter release, gets over front side well, fastball worked 70-75 mph with some arm side life. Consistently threw strikes with all pitches, including 12/6-shaped curveball and fading changeup. Good student.
