Tafton Hensley is a 2019 OF/C with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Mooresville, NC who attends South Iredell HS. Recorded a 6.46 second 60-yard dash time. Lots of present physicality with very good athleticism and twitch muscle. Primary outfielder with a compact arm stroke and very good present arm strength recorded up to 88 mph. Good carry and extremely efficient and athletic actions. Solid release and good carry across. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and an open, upright stance. Bat speed present and shifts weight well through the point of contact. Keeps hands inside but has a loose and easy swing. Creates a lot of strength through the point of impact. High ceiling power potential with present hitting tools as well. Good student. Named to the 2018 Sunshine Northeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
