Tucker Christensen is a 2020 RHP/SS with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Norwalk, IA who attends Norwalk HS. Medium athletic build with good physical projection moving forward. Simple turn and throw delivery on the mound, has some drift out front and lands 4-6" closed with his front foot, long stride out, arm works well with loose extension and some developing arm speed. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, mostly straight. Breaking ball varied between curveball and slider shapes depending on if his body got too far out front on release, best breaking balls thrown at harder velocities with shorter and tighter break. Right handed hitter, simple leg lift trigger, line drive swing, makes consistent contact with his best swings to right centerfield. 7.43 runner, showed good arm strength and actions in the infield during the games. Solid young athlete with a good arm who should continue to improve with mechanical adjustments. Good student.
