Ryan Ramsey is a 2019 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Montvale, NJ who attends Pascack Hills HS. Medium athletic build, room to get stronger. Clean athletic delivery, bit crossbody on release but rotates well and creates good angle, everything is on time and repeated very well. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, gets nice sinking action at times. Has advanced feel for his breaking ball, can add and subtract on it, tunnels it very well with his fastball, slurve type shape with sharp biting action. Nice change up with feel. Pounds the zone with three pitches and has an idea how to mix and locate. Should be very successful right away in college. Good student, verbal commitment to Maryland.
