Donovan Zsak is a 2022 LHP/OF with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Scotch Plains, NJ who attends St Joseph. Ran a 7.37 second 60 yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher with strength in the build, starts with a quick side step into a very short compact arm action working to a high three-quarters arm slot, fastball showed plus spin with some riding life up in the zone topping out at 92 mph while sitting 87-91 mph, was able to command the fastball mostly to the glove side, showed some feel for spin with a mid 70's curveball with 1-7 shape, does a nice job of repeating the arm slot on both offering, a lot to like with the make up and arm speed. Good student. Verbal commitment to Virginia.
