Josh Moylan is a 2020 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-5 225 lb. frame from Stoney Beach, MD who attends Archbishop Spalding. Extra big and strong well proportioned athletic build. 7.00 runner, is a solid athletic defensively at first base with good footwork and balance, turns well with quick feet, long and loose arm action, has been in the upper 80's off the mound as well. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread and open stance with a well timed leg lift trigger, uses his strong lower half to help generate bat speed, shows big power and carry when he gets the ball in the air, easy loose swing with extension, more of a gap to gap approach at present but really shows his ability to pull and lift at times, has power to all fields that will continue to grow with repetitions against upper level pitching. Excellent student, verbal commitment to East Carolina.
