John Michael Follett is a 2020 3B/C, RHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Carrollton, TX who attends Prestonwood Christian Academy HS. Has a lean, athletic frame with room to fill. On the mound has a high leg kick, sits in to rear leg and drives down the mound, whippy arm action and 3/4 release with extension. Fastball ranged from 70 to 74 miles per hour showed consistent cut action that will break some bats in the future. Curveball was at 62 miles per hour with 11/5 arc showing good feel for it, developing depth and threw effectively in the strike zone. During infield workouts he moved well to the ball, fielded with momentum to the bag, good fielding mechanics and showed arm strength. At the plate he starts with a wide stance, slightly open, controlled his movements, big leg lift with internal rotation creating coiled front side, showed a good feel for contact in batting practice and games.
