Nick Lazzara is a 2021 C/1B/IF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Carrollton, TX who attends Jesuit College Prep. Big and strong young build, looks stronger than listed size. Switch-hitter, hits from a straight stance from both sides with a short and quick swing, strong enough to get the ball to jump off the barrel, more of a right centerfield approach from the right side, looks to turn on the ball more from the left side, has bat speed from both sides but only hit right handed in games. Has young footwork behind the plate, moves laterally well blocking but doesn't gain ground throwing, has good arm strength with more to come, 2.06 best pop time. Also played first base with good actions and footwork. Good student.
