Davis Budd is a 2023 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends North Paulding. He ran a 7.30 second sixty. A primary right-handed pitcher with a bigger frame that projects well on the mound. He repeats the delivery well on the mound getting to a consistent high three-quarters release with a longer arm action, the fastball comes out clean at 79-83 mph while the curveball and slider were more dangerous offerings poising more problems for hitters as the slider darted horizontal int he mid 70's and the curveball showed depth in the upper 60's. At first base he fields the ball out front with firm hands funneling deep into the body with some feel for the actions on the double play feeds. Right-handed hitter, uses a hanging leg lift to get back to even from a slightly open stance, the ball comes off the barrel well with flashes of both bat speed and strength at the point of contact.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
