Jake Heimlicher is a 2018 OF with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Parker, CO who attends Regis Jesuit High School. Extra-large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 6.92 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well on feet and shows nice energy to the ball, works behind it and fields the ball out front, full arm action through the back and shows quickness to arm action while getting on top of the ball, creates extension out front and shows nice carry out of the hand. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even stance and high hand set and back elbow in the box. Loads hands back deep at start of swing, quickness to them to come out and through the zone. Full swing path and shows nice bat speed with ability to generate carry when on time with timing triggers, looks to create lift at point of contact. Named to Underclass West Top Prospect List. Very good student.
