Andre F Colon is a 2017 SS/2B, 3B with a 6-1 177 lb. frame from Coamo, PR who attends Washburn Baseball Academy. Medium athletic build, some present strength, especially in the lower half with room for more. 6.70 runner, is light on his feet defensively with a quick first step, athletic actions to the ball and charges well and gets the ball at the right hop, arm action is a bit long when he lays back but has very good arm strength. Right handed hitter,straight stance, late load and his foot will occasionally get down late, middle to opposite field approach with an inside swing path, is aggressive attacking the ball, has the strength to open up his swing and look to drive the ball more. Good student., verbal commitment to Jefferson College.
