2015 California Underclass Showcase
Brendan Cindric is a 2017 LHP/OF, 1B with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Danville, CA who attends Monte Vista. Long, lean build with long levers and excellent physical projection remaining on frame. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.36 seconds. Primary pitcher, hands over head into windup, closed off at landing point creating crossfire action. Shows solid arm speed, arm has medium effort to three quarters slot. FB worked 77-81 and touched 82 with solid life to arm side. Showed both slider and curveball. Slider showed sharpness in tilting action; flashed ability to get on top of CB and spin it with 12/6 shape and good depth. Hits with leg lift trigger into pronated front hip, deep load, longer swing but has strength at contact, showed good power to pull field with projectable hands and bat speed. Worked out in the OF, moves well to ball, projects well in RF with solid arm strength up to 83 MPH. Named to 2015 California Underclass Showcase Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
