Cade Patterson is a 2019 C/SS/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Irwin, PA who attends Penn Trafford HS. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.98 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with relaxed set, longer stride out, whole-field approach with solid bat speed on line drive plane, sprayed contact to all fields, good contact skill, will unlock more power as he gets stronger. Worked out behind the plate, sits into crouch with good low set, quick exchange with good hands overall, clean and quick footwork, accurate down to 2nd base, clocked up to 76 mph on throws, did a very good job of blocking and moving behind the plate in game action. Named to 2018 Great Lakes Indoor Top Prospect List, very good student.
