Kelcey White Jr. is a 2022 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Ellenwood, GA who attends Westlake. Slender young athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Switch-hitter, has a similar approach and bat speed from both sides of the plate, hits from a wide base with a hanging front leg load, has quick hands that are short to the ball with good extension out front, bit more pull oriented from the right side but has an accurate barrel from both sides. 7.40 runner in the sixty, works low behind the ball with quick and active feet, has good flow through the ball and will work around it, some young arm strength. Also pitched, fast paced mechanics with a quick arm circle leading to a high 3/4's arm slot, gets extended well out front on release, ball comes out of his hand easily. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, mostly straight. Curveball flashed good spin and some 10/4 sweeping bite. Good athlete who should keep improving as he gets stronger. Good student.
