Alex Stanyek is a 2023 OF/RHP, IF with a 6-0 184 lb. frame from Holmdel, NJ who attends Red Bank Catholic. Physical, athletic build with well-proportioned strength throughout his frame. Recorded a 5.04-second forty time. Primary outfielder, fields off to the side with clean actions. Present arm strength, up to 91 mph to the plate with accurate throws. Clean footwork with some athletic twitch in his actions. Secondary right-handed pitcher, easy, simple operation, driving down the mound well with his strong lower half. Higher 3/4 arm slot with a quick arm, creating some deception with downhill plane. Fastball explodes out of his hand with riding life through the zone, getting in on hitters. Flashed 11-5 breaking ball with depth, continuing to refine feel for off speed offering. High-80s heater, consistently running up to 90 mph. Right-handed hitter, sets up with an open stance, bent at the knees with a high-hand set. Elevated stroke with quickness to his hands. Incorporates his lower half well, creating tons of bat speed. Whole field approach with legitimate power to the pull side. Excellent student. Named to Northeast Indoor Top Prospect List. Verbal commitment to George Washington.
