Sebastian Nunez is a 2019 C/1B with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Manati, PR who attends Academia Cristiana de Manati. Medium frame with athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.69 seconds. Hits from narrow-based stance, upper half oriented swing, handsy swing with quick barrel through the zone, good contact-driven approach, showed ability to find the barrel on pitches all over the zone and use the whole field. Worked out behind the plate, athleticism throughout actions, has explosion out of crouch, some rawness to defensive game but has loud athleticism and arm strength, clocked up to 84 mph on throws and popped 1.89 seconds. Named to 2019 World Showcase Top Prospect List, signed with Chicago State.
