Cason Engert is a 2023 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Cumming, GA who attends North Forsyth HS. Large, broad shouldered frame with lots of room for physical projection. PRimary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Simple mechanics with a compact delivery and clean arm stroke. Really quick arm and works very fast through release. High three-quarters arm slot with some angle and the fastball gets a ton of carry and vertical life. Attacks with the fastball that was up to 90 mph during this outing but has been firmer. Curveball shows good spin to it and the makings of a quality pitch and he flashed a changeup. Great student. Verbal commitment to East Tennessee State.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
