Jesse Bergin is a 2018 RHP with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Studio City, CA who attends Harvard-Westlake HS. Strong athletic build with room to get stronger. Simple turn and throw mechanics with a high leg raise, early hand separation shows the ball to the hitter early. Upper 80's fastball, mostly straight, topped out at 91 mph early. Throws a big breaking slider and has lots of confidence in it and uses it often, good spin and depth at times. Rare change up. Verbal commitment to UCLA.
