Alex Binelas is a 2018 3B/SS/1B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Oak Creek, WI who attends Oak Creek HS. Solid athletic build with very good strength. 6.78 runner, showed much improved athleticism on defense, agile and quick in his actions, very strong throwing arm from a quick exchange, makes accurate throws, high level defender at third base. Left handed hitter, short swing with a mid-field approach, recognized off speed stuff well, looks to have changed and shortened his swing approach, like the power and bat speed in former approach, has big strength in his body he can use to create bat speed. Good student, verbal commitment to Louisville.
