Jean Carlos Correa Oppenheimer is a 2016 SS/2B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Santa Isabel, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy/HS. Young middle infielder's build, lots of room to get stronger. 7.07 runner, has quick feet on defense and shows lateral range, moves through the ball well with athletic actions, compact arm stroke and makes accurate throws, plays under control Right handed hitter, good hitting rhythm, stays balanced and directional, swing will get long on occasion but is tension free with good extension through the ball, repeats his mechanics well, shows some gap power. Has really improved over the last six months in all areas. Brother of Astros shortstop Carlos Correa. Outstanding student.
