Sam Saxton is a 2016 OF/RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Episcopal HS. Solid build with present strength and athleticism. Projectable frame. Right handed hitter, starts from medium-wide base, hand load, drop trigger with ability to stay inside baseball. Flashes ability to get extended and some bat speed, displayed ability to work entire field, hit ball with most authority to pullside. Showed natural actions in outfield, with easy, repeatable mechanics. Throws were accurate to all bases. Very good student.
