Cristhian Caro is a 2018 SS/RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Miami Coral Park HS. Large frame with slender, highly-athletic present build; very good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.14 seconds. Leans onto backside when loading into swing, sets from upright stance with slightly open front hip, gets on lofted swing plane with solid hand path, goes gap to gap with solid jump off the bat, good projection on both hit and power tools. Showed well defensively, good reads off the bat, shows quality footwork to both sides with clean actions throughout. Fields cleanly and gets off quick release across the diamond, clocked up to 78 MPH. Pitched as well, loose arm stroke with compact action, delivery is smooth and easy, fastball worked 79-81 MPH with good command to both sides. Showed curveball with 11/5 shape and solid depth. Did a good job mixing and matching. Good student.
