Alexander Goff is a 2018 RHP with a 6-2 184 lb. frame from Winter Springs, FL who attends Winter Springs. Large frame, broad shoulders with sturdy build. Right handed pitcher, solid feel for delivery and repeating mechanics. Shows looseness in movements, consistently able to get good extension and finish over front side, uses lower half well. Long, loose arm-action, fastball up to 80 mph with more on the way. Fastball has solid downhill plane, riding action in on the hands. Throws strikes, attacks hitters, also has feel for mixing in curveball with 11/5 shape. Curveball has tight rotation, late break. Will occasionally work in a straight changeup, shows good deception off of the fastball. Knows how to pitch, change speeds, also is aware of runners on base. Solid potential from the mound.
