Chris Mondesi is a 2018 3B/SS with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Brooklyn, NY who attends Grand Street Campus. Strong and athletic build, broad back and shoulders. 7.28 runner, big arm strength on the left side of the infield, makes low on line throws, fields the ball well out front, charges the ball smoothly, solid third base tools and actions on defense. Exaggerated large leg raise coil and trigger at the plate, right handed hitter, shows raw bat speed and strength at contact but swing approach is long at present, has the tools to hit with adjustments, bat has shown very well in the past. Good student.
