Mario Milian is a 2015 C/RHP/OF with a 5-11 157 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Rosehill Christian HS. Medium, athletic build with a lean frame and room to fill out with additional strength. Ran a 7.16 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, starts with a low set behind the plate, quick transfer, gains ground with lower half on throws to second base, quick release with sound actions, strength and accuracy on throws. Short arm action in the outfield, accurate throws, overall sound mechanics. On the mound throws from a three-quarter arm slot with a tight release and a high leg raise with his a slight hip turn at top. Fastball topped at 77 with occasional arm side run, strong feel for 12-6 curveball with depth and short break at 63 mph. Left-handed hitter, starts with a high hand set and shifts into contact. Nice feel for the barrel with quick hands, swings hard and projects with added strength. Very good student.
