Daniel Livnat is a 2018 LHP with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Dunwoody, GA who attends The Weber School. Recorded a 7.22 second 60-yard dash time. Lean and athletic frame with long limbs and room to fill out. Short rocker step into a high leg lift. Rocks back at glove separation and creates tilt with the body. Carries his weight downhill well and stays tall on the backside. Extended three-quarters arm slot with a fastball up to 84 mph and has good arm side life to the pitch. Fills up the strike zone with repeatable mechanics. Very good pitchability and good plane generated on the fastball. Mixed in a curveball with 3/7 sharp depth and sweeping life. Can throw it for strikes and utilize it as a put away pitch. Good feel for a changeup as he maintains arm speed well with slight fading action. The pitch has high potential and he should use it more often. Keeps his pitches low in the zone with a good approach on the mound. Named to the 2017 Southeast Top Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List. Great student.
