Daniel Baruch is a 2019 1B/OF with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Cranston, RI who attends Wheeler HS. Strong athletic build. Right handed hitter, easy swing with some looseness to his swing from a low hand set, quick hands and creates good bat speed, has some lift in his swing and some present gap power, does a good job of timing up and getting the barrel out. Has good actions at first base, works through the ball and has soft hands, likely has the tools to play left field as well. Good student, verbal commitment to Boston College.
