William Rigney is a 2019 RHP/1B with a 6-5 205 lb. frame from Woodway, TX who attends Midway HS. Big and projectable pitcher's build. Full hands over head delivery, has good rhythm to his mechanics and is low effort until release, 3/4's extended arm slot, can use his lower half better. Fastball topped out at 94 mph and sat at 93 for most of the outing, more velocity in there, could end up as a very hard thrower, fastball mostly straight at this point. Hand position slider, will occasionally tip it in his glove, developed confidence and feel for the slider the more he used it. Power pitcher's approach at present. Good student, verbal commitment to Baylor.
